Seventeen years ago, when Utkarsh Sharma played the role of Jeetey in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001) as a child artiste, little did he know that years later, he will make his debut as a lead actor in Bollywood with Genius - Dil Ki Ladaai Dimag Se. Born and brought up in Mumbai, Utkarsh has studied BFA in Film Production and Direction from Chapman University, USA, and Method Acting from The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. The film, which also stars newcomer Ishita, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mithun Chakraborty and Ayesha Jhulka, is an action love story.
